Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or moisture, and do not place your bag on rough or dirty surfaces. Store it in a dry place to help prevent colour changes.
Avoid contact with oily substances, cosmetics, perfumes or abrasive materials, as these may stain or scratch the bag and its metal hardware.
Keep your bag in its protective dust bag.
When you’re not using your bag, always store it in its protective dust bag to help protect the leather and keep your bag in good condition.
Prevent your bag from losing its shape.
If you’re storing your bag for a long period and want to preserve its original shape, fill it with white tissue paper to help prevent it from losing its shape. Never use magazine or newspaper paper, as the ink can transfer onto the bag.
Clean your bag.
If your bag is leather:
- Clean it regularly with a dry, white cotton cloth. Avoid overusing specialized cleaning products (creams, waxes, brushes, etc.).
If your bag is suede:
-To remove dust, it is best to brush it with a soft-bristled brush, gently lifting away any stuck-on dust particles.
-To clean it: Moisten a clean microfiber cloth with water and neutral soap and rub in a circular motion; then, use a sponge or cloth dampened only with clean water to remove the soap. Important: Let it air dry in the shade, away from heat sources.
-Scuffs: If there is a scuff or stain, you can remove it with an eraser. Protective spray: To prevent stains, you can use a suede protective spray. If your bag is canvas: Do not machine wash it. You can clean it by dabbing the stain with a slightly damp microfiber cloth (since it doesn't shed lint).
Keep your bag dry
To keep your bag in perfect condition, we recommend avoiding contact with water and moisture.
For leather bags, conditioning the leather with a specialised leather cream — or the classic Nivea cream (blue tin) — is a good practice to keep the leather nourished. We recommend doing this at least once a year.
